Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for systems engineers to contribute to the support and development of Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic Warfare (EW) simulator tools and test equipment in support of the world s most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems detecting, identifying, locating, and countering threats for joint forces and international aircrew. We develop highly sophisticated digital Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for motivated systems engineers to work across a portfolio of programs as part of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams developing and supporting next generation Electronic Warfare systems. You will apply your skills to develop, mature, and support best in class EW system modeling in C . You will use sound object-oriented principles to guide your efforts as we explore new opportunities and support our fielded electronics platforms. Work location can be Nashua NH or Manchester NH.Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:

4 Years with BS

2 Years with MS

0 Year with PHD

  • Possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS)

  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) modeling, RF simulation, RF analysis, or RF testing within communication and/or RADAR bands

  • Experience with the following design/test tools: C , MATLAB

  • Experience with software design and programming

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Cursory knowledge of one or more government standard mission models such as: AFSIM/JIMM/NGTS/JSE

  • Experience with Git/Version control and working in an agile work environment

  • Experience working with and developing in a Linux Environment

  • Experience with RF Stimulators (CEESIM, A2PATS, etc) with the ability to evaluate/validate RF output modeled in RF Stimulator; multi-beam, frequency agile, PRI, PW, and pulse modulations

  • Experience testing, integrating, debugging, or analyzing RF hardware/modules/systems Knowledge of advanced antenna technologies and performance. Ability to model antenna impacts on received and transmitted signals. Understanding of antenna patterns, polarization, bandwidth, beam-width etc

  • Experience with Interface Control Documentation

  • Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, phase network analyzer, and power meters

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
