Lockheed Martin Completion Associate Manager – Aircraft Maintenance Manager (Level 4) in Marietta, Georgia

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Completion Associate Manager – Aircraft Maintenance Manager (Level 4) to join our team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will lead approximately 50 personnel across all aspects of aircraft maintenance and production operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and adherence to schedules. This position plays a critical role in maintaining live aircraft and flight operations while driving efficiency, quality, and compliance within a dynamic production environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Leadership and Operations Management :

• Oversee approximately 50 maintenance and production personnel, ensuring efficient execution of aircraft maintenance activities.

• Develop and implement daily tasks and schedules to support weekend shift operations and critical milestone projects.

• Serve as the first line of maintenance continuity, ensuring smooth transitions across shifts and maintaining operational consistency.

Aircraft Maintenance and Production Execution :

• Direct and manage live aircraft and flight operations, ensuring compliance with all maintenance and safety protocols.

• Supervise and coordinate all aircraft systems maintenance, including hydraulics, fuel, mechanical, rigging, servicing, avionics, and electrical systems.

• Ensure timely execution of C-130 Phase or ISO inspections and maintenance procedures.

• Lead teams in the fighter aircraft production environment, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and resolve technical challenges.

Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement :

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company, industry, and regulatory standards.

• Implement best practices in aircraft maintenance to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.

• Identify and drive process improvements to optimize production and maintenance operations.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of aircraft maintenance actions and flight operations.

WHO YOU ARE

•Experienced Leader– You have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and production leadership.

•Aircraft Maintenance Expert– You possess extensive knowledge of all aircraft systems, including hydraulics, fuel, mechanical, avionics, and electrical.

•Flight Operations Specialist– You have hands-on experience with live aircraft and flight operations.

•Production-Focused– You bring expertise in fighter aircraft production, airline industry management, or C-130J model maintenance.

•Process-Driven– You prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency to drive operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

• Aircraft maintenance experience

• Live aircraft and flight experience

• Experienced in all aircraft systems (hydro, fuel, mechanical, rigging, servicing, avionics, &/or electrical.)

• Experience leading teams &/or managing.

Desired Skills:

• 10 years Aircraft maintenance experience

• Fighter aircraft production experience

• C-130 phase or ISO experience

• Airline industry production management

• C-130 J model experience

• Previous production superintendent

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
