Lockheed Martin Industrial Engineer - Staff (Level 4) in Marietta, Georgia
Description: What You Will Be Doing
As part of a team of Industrial Engineers you will be working within Lockheed Martin’s Sustainment team and will influence how modifications, upgrades and overhauls (MUO) are done on all of products.
This position will provide data-driven solutions that enable the operations team to optimize their MUO schedules and costs. Shop floor interaction with operations team enable the IE to comprehend the MUO processes to provide data-driven deliverables to internal customers.
This position requires collaboration with all functional groups supporting the entire lifecycle from proposal to execcution of the mod work, including working with CAMs and the Depot Flow Planning teams. Candidate will have the opportunity to provide valuable solutions to multiple organizations and align program priorities.
This is a mid-career leadership opportunity where you will:
• Provide direct flightline and operations floor support, including creation and maintenance of crew plans, performance metrics and capacity/staffing requirements.
• Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes and reduce waste.
• Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.
• Provide projections and simulate scenarios to support proposals for future work.
• Oversee process improvement efforts, ensuring implementation and sustainment while demonstrating results.
• Train stakeholders and team members on Industrial and Operations Engineering principles.
• Optimize organizational structure, team communication and skill proficiencies to maintain a high performing team.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a secret level clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited college or equivalent experience
•Production / Operations / Industrial Engineering experience in Aeronautics or Heavy Industry
• Demonstrated experience with scheduling, metric development, forecasting and/or continuous improvement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and/or compiling and analyzing data sets
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in an Industrial Engineering or STEM related discipline
• Industrial Engineering experience
• Experience with SAP, iBASEt, 3DX or Teamcenter
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Aircraft Production Experience and/or Sustainment Experience
• Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience: understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
• Ability to construct PowerPoint presentation material and brief to senior leadership effectively

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
