Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Management & Planning Operations Associate Manager (Level 4) to lead the Electrical Development Team in Marietta, GA . In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure cost and quality performance, and collaborate closely with Electrical Engineering to support critical customer requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Project Management & Planning Operations Associate Manager , your responsibilities will include:
• Team Leadership : Managing and directing a team of salaried and hourly employees in a union environment to achieve operational excellence.
• Program Oversight : Ensuring cost, quality, and schedule performance across all supported programs.
• Electrical Harness Construction : Overseeing aeronautics electrical harness fabrication and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
• Collaboration with Engineering : Serving as the primary point of contact for engagement with Electrical Engineering to align with customer requirements.
• Process Optimization : Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Stakeholder Communication : Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, implement best practices, and support mission success.
• Full Spectrum Leadership : Fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that aligns with Lockheed Martin’s Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in aeronautics electrical harness construction and fabrication .
• Prior leadership experience managing a team of salaried and hourly employees in a unionized environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost control, &/or quality management .
Desired Skills:
• Experienced with Engineering change implementation in Electrical design environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet Cost, Quality, and Schedule goals
• Analytical analysis with a demonstrated track record of using data to drive critical actions
• Ability to build a strong team and challenge status quo mindsets
• Lean methodology principal understanding and execution
• Theory of Constraints experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
