The Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading and implementing advanced Quality Engineering initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This will include performing First Article Inspections (FAI), product surveillance, and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA). This position supports the C-130J (AMMM) program.
The position is intended to be a catalyst for Program initiatives to reduce Scrap, Rework, and Repair (SRR) cost, improve Quality Inspection systems, and ensure Production/Quality process compliance.
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

- Bachelors degree or higher education from an accredited college in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical etc.)
- Formal Root Cause Analysis experience
- Audit and Product Surveillance experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic understanding of AS9100
- Basic aircraft knowledge
- Data repository systems experience (QADS/SFM/Dims etc.)
- MS Office experience (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Electrical wiring background
