Description: We are Lockheed Martin
Entry-level position with responsibilities in Air Vehicle Systems Engineering. Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that focuses on how to design, integrate, and manage complex systems over their life cycles. Duties in this assignment can include any of numerous activities needed to develop, test, produce and sustain our aircraft. May involve the creation of project technical plans and monitoring of project progress toward achievement of technical goals. Ensuring project adherence to technical policies, configuration management practices, airworthiness and safety standards, and applications of specialty engineering so that product design integrity and performance is maintained and optimized across all aircraft systems. Collaborating across engineering teams to resolve and integrate technical/engineering requirements and verify their incorporation in the resulting product. Developing, supporting and leading technical reviews with our Customers. Will involve work across multiple engineering disciplines and technical areas such as aircraft systems, software, production, and post-delivery sustainment. Will learn and apply the Systems Engineering process/discipline as defined by INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering), NAVAIR (Naval Air Systems Command), MIL-STD-499, Military Standard - System Engineering Management and IEEE 15288, Application of Systems Engineering on Defense Programs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree - Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or related Technical Field - Entry-level position
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Past Classwork or Experience in Systems Engineering and Project Management
Desired Skills:
• Student Membership in INCOSE
• Past Work Experience in a Technical/Engineering Team
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
