Lockheed Martin Tool Services Manager in Marietta, Georgia
Description: This position will be the Production Control Tool Services Manager responsible for Central Stores/Tool Services and Blue Print Control. This position involves the following: - Manages a Staff of Salary Shop Floor Production Control Support employees including Represented personnel supporting a 3-shift operation. - Manages tool requirements and ordering to ensure a controlled flow of approved tools timed to meet production requirements. - Manages tool crib and tool warehouse inventory to include receipts, cycle counts, sampling, and etching. - Manage tool requirements/orders to mitigate negative impacts on production. – Manage tool repair, routine equipment maintenance, tool certification/verifications, setups, and overhauls. – Manages Systematic Inventory Management of Production Aid Commodities and ensures deployment of automatic dispensing units (AcuDrawer, Weigh Station, Flex sense) and controlled tool kits. - Utilizes Shop Floor Control and MRP working knowledge to support requirements planning, and execution for the AMMM Component areas - Manages supervisors and salary contributors in the planning, integration, execution of project schedules and enhancement to material flow processes in a Performance Management Team (PMT) environment. -Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DOD Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Knowledge of and ability to work efficiently using SFM.
Experience in change management/6S/process improvement activities
Well versed in Constraints Management
Well versed in Microsoft Access & Excel
Experience using CribMaster
Understanding of standard tools and their use in the build process of aircraft manufacturing
Understanding of or experience in Tool Repair
Understanding of FOD procedures when working around aircraft
