Hilton Analyst Consolidations & Reporting in McLean, Virginia
***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA***
This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As an Analyst on the Consolidations and Reporting team reporting to a Senior Manager, you will focus on ensuring accurate and timely consolidations of the Company's captive insurance entity results.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Prepare monthly close journal entries
- Perform general ledger reviews and balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of discrepancies or outstanding items
- Prepare/review monthly financial statements for all consolidated insurance entities
How you will collaborate with others:
- Engage with Risk Management team on insurance renewals and allocation
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation
- Provide a support role for all other consolidation and reporting processes
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Global consolidated accounting and reporting for the insurance entities
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- One (1) year of work experience in accounting.
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
- Certified Public Accountant or exam candidate
- Knowledge of insurance-specific accounting practices and reporting
- Experience with Peoplesoft and/or Hyperion Financial Management/FCCS
- Advanced level Excel skills
