Do you have experience with RESTful interfaces and full stack development? We need your talent on our team in NH as a Senior SW Engineer in our Space Software writing a full stack application using RESTful APIs. Job Responsibilities

Create a new web application using RESTful APIs which includes the functionality of a legacy tool

Collaborate closely with the program subject matter expert and engineering lead.

Apply current and emerging technologies and tools in software development

Expand the functionality of the existing toolset through new feature development

Engage with the customer for feedback and input on technical direction

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CompTIA Security certification

  • 6 years of software development experience

  • Experience in RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, Java or Python web applications required

  • Proficiency with source code control tools such as git or Bitbucket

  • Strong written and verbal technical communication & collaboration skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience developing on Linux Operating Systems

  • Experience with full stack frameworks (e.g., Spring, Wicket, Django, Flask) and/or experience with NodeJS /other front end languages a plus.

  • Interest in completing a CI polygraph

  • Experience with automated build pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (scrum or kanban)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
