Job Summary
As part of DuPont Electronics & Industrial business the Product Steward and Regulatory Specialist applies product stewardship and regulatory expertise to advance market-driven, healthy and sustainable solutions for the medical devices, pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industries.
This position will be responsible for product stewardship and regulatory support by assisting the healthcare global product steward and regulatory compliance experts to ensure product safety, sustainability and suitability through compliance with applicable global healthcare products and chemicals management regulations.
Please note team members work onsite 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Partner With Customers and internal stakeholders to create and supply DuPont Healthcare documents necessary to support customer compliance and risk review processes.
Support the chemical management compliance activities of the leverage teams for the Silicone healthcare business. (EPA, FDA, REACH, Turkey REACH, EUAE REACH, Poison Center reporting, etc.)
Makes An Impact by maintaining and optimizing product regulatory information documents and ensuring document availability to necessary stakeholders.
Acts Like An Owner through partnership with colleagues in the E&I Global PS&R team as well as corporate PS&R to maintain data integrity for current and new products.
Support internal projects aiming to complete supporting biocompatibility and analytical testing data for the healthcare product range
Provide chemistry and regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and 3rd party providers responsible for SDS and label creation to ensure accuracy and compliance of these documents for current and new products.
Utilize SAP systems functionality to support all product stewardship and compliance activities.
With guidance of the global product steward investigate, prepare and provide product stewardship training to TS&D, external customers, and distributors.
Develop and maintain current knowledge of existing as well as emerging regulations, standards and guidance documents (Medical devices regulation, food contact, chemical management, GHS)
Education & Experience
Required:
PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other similar sciences with appropriate experience
5+ years’ work experience supporting product stewardship and/or regulatory compliance for chemicals
Knowledge of the global chemical management regulatory environment, GHS and food contact regulations
Understanding of Medical devices and pharmaceutical/medicinal related regulation
Knowledge of DuPont Product Stewardship standards and practices preferable.
Experience using Power Apps and/or SharePoint experience preferable
Experience with SAP preferable.
Computer proficiency including Microsoft® Office and the ability to manage and manipulate data in spreadsheets, databases and websites.
