The Associate Supply Planner position provides support to the Cocoa Supply Planner for short-term Cocoa planning and execution. This role works closely with the Belgian supply chain team to ensure that the supply pipeline matches the North American chocolate demand which includes internal usage and external sales to customers.
-Work with customer service, warehouse coordination, Import/customs coordination, and commercial/sales to provide insight to the BU’s productivity and ability to meet customer expectations 50%
-Work with sales operations and finance to reconcile intercompany contracts and invoices 20%
-Work closely with Belgian Chocolate Supply Chain team and be liaison between Belgium and North America Chocolate Product Line Management 15%
-Support initiatives to maintain BU cocoa powder data for ERP system functionality 10%
-Work with Cocoa Powder Supply Planner on projects as assigned 5%
4 year BS/BA degree or 3 years (or more) of professional experience in Logistics, Customer Service, or Supply Planning in lieu of the degree
2 years (or more) of working experience in ERP systems
Intermediate MS Excel (Graphs, pivot tables and advanced formulas)
Ability to effectively work and communicate with teams from diverse cultures
Ability to work independently
Exceptional learning capacity
APICS CPIM or other professional certifications a plus (American Production and Inventory Control Society)
1 year of more of working experience with International Supply Chains
1 year or more of working experience with SAP
1 year or more of working experience with JD Edwards
