Production: health benefits commence on the 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
Salary: health benefits commence on the 1st of the month following the date of hire
Principal Accountabilities
Setup, changeover, and teardown of machines
Read run sheets and utilize machines to produce product to customer specifications
Accurately record machine efficiency and up time
Communicate with production employees, leads, and supervisors
Maintaining a safe working environment
Accurately complete other Formax related paperwork
Ensuring food safety and quality
Cleanliness and housekeeping
Set-up of equipment/work station
Be able to operate a pallet-jack
Be able to learn and perform LOTO
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to read and comprehend manuals and SOP's
Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, have strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Experience with the use of and measuring of instruments/precision tools, fasteners, piping/fittings & valves, cutting and welding, packing/sealing/gasket products, air/steam traps, rotating shaft components, filtering media and rigging
Ability to work 8-hour shifts and extended shifts, including week-ends, holidays and on-call, the ability work outside in all types of weather, climb ladders and work from heights, and the ability to work in a potentially physically strenuous environment
Preferred Qualifications
AA or 2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance Mechanics
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance
High school diploma or GED
Demonstrate computer skills including data entry and data retrieval
