Thrivent Financial Director, Brand Marketing Analytics in Minneapolis, Minnesota
This role is responsible for leading strategic development and execution of our brand measurement and analytics initiatives. The role will collaborate cross-functionally with business leadership, marketing, sales and product teams to deliver novel, actionable insights that optimize brand strategy, drive growth, and elevate Thrivent’s market position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, proven leadership skills, and experience in delivering data-driven recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and brand performance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership: Lead the development of a robust analytics framework to measure brand health, campaign performance, and marketing ROI.
Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage data to uncover key insights about consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive performance to inform brand strategies.
Performance Measurement: Design and implement metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems that assess the effectiveness of brand marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including Business Strategy, Brand Marketing, Creative, Product, and Finance to align data strategies with business goals.
Advanced Analytics: Oversee the use of tools such as predictive modeling, A/B testing, attribution analysis, and other analytical methods to enhance decision-making in media investments and optimization.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and data-driven excellence.
Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders to influence strategy and drive results.
Tools & Technology: Identify and implement the latest analytics tools, technologies, and best practices to improve efficiency and data quality.

This role is expected to work closely with peer group of Directors and lead a team of individual contributors. The individual should have executive presence and large group presentation skills as this role is expected to have visibility across the enterprise and to Sr. Executives.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
8-10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on brand measurement. Experience with developing and/or overseeing attribution solutions highly preferred.
Expertise in analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar).
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong statistical analysis skills and familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, or R.
Experience in brand marketing analytics across consumer goods, retail, tech, or related industries.
Proven ability to lead and inspire analytics teams, drive collaboration, and deliver measurable business impact and working collaboratively with cross functional peers.
Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences as well as strong presentation skills.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $166,184.00 - $224,839.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
