You use your critical thinking skills to be the reality check in the room. When marketers spin off onto tangents or developers start to over-architect, you bring everyone back to earth with a clear sense of the problem the team is trying to solve, and the requirements needed to get us there.

You pick up the ball early and help ensure that everyone knows what “done” means and which criteria we’ll use to declare victory at the end of a project. You can do this because you have a solid foundation in digital project execution, critical analysis and strategic application of marketing technologies. You’re on your way to independently leading digital marketing strategy projects.

Bind is looking for a skilled and results-driven digital marketing strategist to coordinate our various digital mediums and assist our company in reaching specific goals Specifically, you will be responsible for effective upfront strategic planning to inform optimization of existing channels, defining content and channel strategy, and helping articulate digital marketing strategies. These strategies will be focused on our digital channels, such as our owned websites, social media, email, paid search, display, etc.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • All paid and organic (SEO) marketing (paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic) and other digital channel advertising from strategy and design through execution, optimization and reporting

  • Work collaboratively to define and design demand campaigns for the sales organization

  • End to end campaign management from timeline management, campaign setup, delivery of assets.

  • A/B Testing campaigns to trial new ideas for effectiveness.

  • Proactively identify and address campaign performance issues and facilitate resolutions to problems when discovered.

  • Build relationships with ad network reps and use them to improve campaigns

  • Train and develop teammates on Paid and Organic tactics and strategies

  • Reporting campaign results and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Collaborate with analytics team and business partners to translate business goals into digital KPIs.

  • Manage the project workflow, providing information in the shared platforms (Workfront, JIRA, etc.), coordinating activities among stakeholders and tracking completion of tasks to full execution of each project.

  • Use analytics and best practices to incorporate SEO, conversion goals, and optimized user experience into digital content and tactics across all digital channels.

  • Assist in development of integrated marketing plans, leading digital strategy focused on moving consumer through funnel to conversion.

  • Represent digital channels in cross-functional task forces and planning/action meetings.

  • Conduct channel/site analysis and competitive research

  • Align with internal teams to champion best practices in digital marketing and establish benchmarks for measuring success of digital marketing programs and tactics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business administration or similar

  • 7+ years of experience creating and executing a variety of effective marketing campaigns from inception to completion

  • 3+ years creating and executing digital strategies for web, paid, social, and/or mobile channels with expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Paid Social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and demand-side platforms

  • 3+ years of experience working with MarTech platforms includes Marketo, Contentful and Salesforce and experience working with technical team members (i.e. business analysts and developers) to execute web projects

  • 3+ years of experience executing analytics projects or working in close collaboration with an analytics team (knowledge of Google Analytics, Domo and Looker preferred)

  • Experience working with vendors and agencies on creative and technology

  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO principles and web page layout

  • Solid technical ability

  • Expertise in digital marketing channels such as email marketing, SEO, SEM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to strategize, build and optimize campaigns in collaboration with the team

  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written creative skills

  • Self-starter, who can work independently and proactively to resolve issues, take ownership of tools, processes & reporting

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
