We are seeking a Chemical or Metallurgical Engineer Student at Minnesota Ore Operations. The Internship affords the opportunity to apply educational experiences to real world mineral processing principals. U. S. This position is a temporary full-time position for the summer of 2025. This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working along-side existing process engineers, operators and maintenance teams to analyze, evaluate and improve process performance.
Developing and coordinating equipment sampling and testing plans for assorted unit operations and processes.
Analyzing and interpreting process information related to productivity, efficiency and product quality.
Applying graphic and statistical methods to translate information into knowledge.
Summarizing and communicating insights through presentations and reports.
Creating or modifying operating procedures to ensure learnings become standard work.
Requirements:
Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or a related STEM field.
Candidates must be a current student, have completed their sophomore year by June 2025 and be in good academic standing.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
