The Opportunity
This position works out of our Minnetonka, MN location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
Shift information: Second shift: 3:15pm to 2:00am Monday-Thursday.
Material and Inventory Specialist II will be working under general supervision, this role is actively involved in material movements in a warehouse environment. Duties may include loading trailers, unloading trailers, processing receiving and put away, cycle counting, de-crating, picking KTE carts, and may use material handling equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrappers.
What You’ll Work On
Understands material movement/inventory levels and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
Performs material movements both physically and systematically conducted within a controlled environment where ESD controls may exist.
Processes stock transfers, material requests and put-away. Loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification.
May assist and train associates with on the job training.
Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activity. Utilizes root cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
Performs cycle counting
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include warehouse material flow systems and procedures
Seeks efficiency in system and process gaps and elevates awareness to management
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration. Promotes a positive work environment.
Participate in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements. Serves on safety, quality and other committees, if applicable.
Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum 2 years
Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred Forklift certification preferred
Seeks efficiency in systems/processes. Manages own time under general supervision.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Oracle experience preferred
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
Ability to handle and lift up to 25lbs as needed for specific job functions
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team

The base pay for this position is $18.47 – $36.93 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
