Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contacts and demographics are audited and follow through with all business units to ensure that entire contract and demographics are audited properly to minimize claims issues

  • Interpret and clarify reimbursement methods

  • Monitor data to ensure performance standards for quality and timeliness

  • Recommend methods to improve performance and processes

  • Process audits of loading of data.

  • Follow design project plan for clean-up projects and initiative impacting providers

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualification:

  • High School Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in provider data maintenance or auditing role within UnitedHealthcare’s Provider Data Operations (PDO) division

  • 1+ years of experience with core UHG system NDB / UNET, CSP

  • Direct experience with provider data maintenance and loading for FQHCs and RHCs, including the individual practitioners

  • Experience with COSMOS NICE, and PULSE is a plus, no minimum number of years

  • Specific knowledge and full competency for the contract loading processes, tools and platforms currently supported

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft programs including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

  • Exposure to reading and interpreting provider contracts

Soft Skills:

  • Effectively expresses ideas and information both verbal and written to individuals

  • Uses careful listening, tact and candor, two-way communication, and a high impact communication style

  • Ability to work both independently AND as a team player to complete work assigned

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills based upon knowledge of the process

  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize work items based on TATs
