As part of our Individual Exchange business we are creating a new business and set of products to serve a diverse set of members and our state and federal partners across our portfolio. This new opportunity and role will be a key part of our Regional Product team and support the implementation of new individual market insurance products. Successful candidates will be motivated by serving new members and new growth opportunities, have excellent attention to detail and be able to collaborate across the organization.
This position within the IEX Regional Product Team will have direct responsibility building key product deliverables for both external filings and internal downstream partners. This role will be responsible to ensure detailed product information is translated correctly to our regulators and implemented accordingly by the business.
Build compliant, accurate, and comprehensive product filings in complex federal templates in accordance with product strategy for a specific region of growth markets
Leverage internal tools and processes to support product build automation
Modify product templates and filing documents in accordance with responses to state objections; ensure required updates are translated to all internal documentation
Build inputs to product database. Manage product database and produce reports detailing product information as required by business partners
Conduct product testing through detailed review of state and federal shopping websites to ensure product information displays correctly for consumers
Support product implementation through translation of product details to downstream partners, including marketing/sales, clinical, operations, and IT
Conduct Competitive Intelligence gathering to inform product/portfolio strategy
Support a dynamic and growing team in a start-up environment

3+ years of relevant healthcare experience
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to identify and solve for errors swiftly
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Healthcare product implementation experience
Extensive Excel skills
Analytical skills and ability to review data and make fact-based recommendations
Adapt quickly to changes in work direction and able to pivot work accordingly
Team player with solid ability to form working professional relationships

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
