The Opportunity

This position works out of our Minnetonka location in the Cardiac Rhythm Technologies division.

What You’ll Work On

The position of Technician Operator is within our Cardiac Rhythm Technologies unit located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In this role, you will perform routine and complex maintenance and operation of Production equipment, including but not limited to work involving the execution of more than one of the typical maintenances. Provides troubleshooting on production equipment and recommends short- and long-term solutions to improve operational efficiencies through root cause investigation efforts related to machine downtime. Meet all necessary goals as provided and provide training to improve the standard rotation.

  • Leads routine, periodic, and special inspections to determine repairs needed or corrective actions taken to prevent breakdowns, unsafe conditions, or to comply with Company and/or Agency Rules and Regulations.

  • Sets up and operates all equipment needed to perform assigned tasks.

  • Maintains appropriate records, keeps inventory of spare parts and materials, and provides Supervisor with the information necessary to secure needed replacement parts or special materials needed to effect proper repairs on all equipment.

  • Responds to alarm or trouble call as required and maintains a strong floor presence. Functions as a key member of the production & maintenance team and assists as necessary to accomplish production goals, and throughput initiatives.

  • Leads the effort of preparing documentation regarding Preventive Maintenance and Machine Operation through effective communication and collaboration with Production Supervisors, Managers, and Engineering.

  • Performs Production Equipment change-over as dictated by schedule or requested by shift supervisor (as needed or directed to best meet departmental objectives).

  • The operator will be able to meet UPL daily

  • Able to be flexible and able to carry 5lbs from stations to stations

  • The operator will be able to troubleshoot issues according to certification and training

  • Training other operators on necessary rotations and certification

  • Adapt to changes in UPL and rotation

Pay & Shift

This position's base pay is $25 an hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Monday through Thursday. 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM with potential overtime

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Reading, writing, and mathematical skills are a prerequisite.

  • Familiarity with current powder processing, filling, and packaging operations is beneficial.

  • Equipment training: double seam evaluation, work order procedures, PM system, safety training to include lock out tag out procedures, working with nitrogen, and documentation.

The base pay for this position is $18.70 – $37.40 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
