Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Global Digital Operations to join our exciting team and be part of the digital transformation within MedTech! This position can be based in multiple J&J MedTech locations in the United States. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis if approved by the Company.

This is a meaningful role for the team and reports to the Global Head of Digital Operations. Our team is a pioneer within MedTech and Johnson & Johnson! We are excited to have this new role lead multiple aspects of digital operations supporting our team and global growth initiatives.

Description

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Digital (JJMTD) is recruiting for a Global Digital Operations Leader, to be in proximity to a J&J MedTech site in the United States. This individual will work alongside leaders within the JJMTD team and with key strategic external partners, primarily responsible for shaping and executing upon the Digital Factory operating model and external company contract and relationship management. The role will report directly to the Global Head of Digital Operations.

The JJMTD vision is to build a future where medical intervention is more planned, less invasive, and more personalized. Our organization is passionate about crafting the future of Digital Surgery by developing digital, software-based solutions for hospitals, clinicians, and patients. These solutions, when integrated with J&J MedTech robotics and broad portfolio of medical devices, are intended to deliver a comprehensive Digital Surgery experience for clinical customers and the patients they serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Factory Op Model

  • Refine, shape, and lead the Digital Factory Operating Model in partnership and collaboration with JJMTD Global Delivery Practice and 3rd party supplier partner.

  • Shape, track, manage the top level critical metrics (Key Performance Indicators) and goals and achievements (Objectives Key Results) for the Digital Factory to drive contract compliance and performance results from supplier partner.

  • Operations lead for contract development between Digital Factory and other J&J MedTech franchises/regions.

Key Supplier/External Partner management

  • Lead contract development for Key Suppliers/External Partners in collaboration with Legal, JJMTD Leadership, Finance, Procurement, and other internal partners.

  • Potential to lead additional external partner management with key companies, similar to Digital Factory.

Business Operating Mechanisms

  • Manage the coordination and logistics for upskilling and driving Digital awareness and knowledge across J&J MedTech.

  • Coordinate, manage, and deliver select meetings as needed.

  • Ongoing JJMTD ERP system support and management.

  • Run other operating mechanisms as the need arises.

Miscellaneous

  • Stay in sync with internal training and learning requirements.

  • Represent the global JJMTD team as required.

  • Operations support across JJMTD.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Business, Operations, Engineering, or other related subject area).

  • 8 years of combined experience with Medical Devices and Digital/software experience (e.g., Consumer Tech, High Tech, MedTech, or Cloud Platforms).

  • 3 years of experience managing vendors/suppliers within globally regulated industries such as medical device, oil & gas, etc.

  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and presentation abilities, with comfort presenting to all management levels within an organization.

  • Significant experience developing, tracking, and managing key metrics to deliver business and financial targets.

  • Medical Device and clinical hospital environment knowledge and experience.

  • Software development knowledge and experience.

  • Experience working in and successfully navigating complex and matrixed organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.

  • Strategic attitude with ability to execute/implement tactical details.

  • Up to 25% travel, in the US and internationally.

Preferred:

  • Advanced Degree.

  • Six Sigma Process Excellence certification.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • People development and management.

  • Entrepreneurial experience building products and/or businesses.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $ 203,550.

For candidates in the San Francisco Bay area $136,000 to $ 234,140.
