How will you make an impact in this role?
Lead all aspects of and maintain efficient function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
Provide technological support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
Compile or assist with the acquisition of sophisticated data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and CEG colleagues
Serve as lead representative and liaison between CEG, information services, external vendors, and other partners for HRIS development and implementation projects.
Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Detailed understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
3 years work experience doing functional technology role(s)
Strong working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferable Cornerstone OnDemand
Strong communication skills, including ability to communicate technical jargon into non-technical terms
Location:VIRTUAL; role must support East-Coast hours
