Primary Function
Designs, implements and monitors a variety of human resource programs. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations – Counseling, coaching, corrective action counseling and retirement counseling at all levels
Employee safety and health administration for World Headquarters and Corporate Technology Center
Assists with HR functions such as compensation and benefits administration, EEP-1 and AAP oversight, local FMLA, shot term disability and long term disability administration
Helps with managing local recruiting and hiring
Event and conference planning and community relations even coordinator
Assists with Employee education and training
Written communications such as authoring announcements, policies, intranet content and general correspondence
This position will be working primarily within our manufacturing side of the business providing support to your hourly work force.
Provide support in one or more functional HR areas, with direct supervision, to assigned areas of company or HR discipline including but not limited to: recruitment, student programs, employment, employee/industrial relations, benefits/payroll administration (including various types of leaves of absence), compensation, organization development, performance management, training, educational assistance, EEO/AA compliance, diversity, international assignments/immigration, relocation, special projects and record keeping.
Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies, procedures and practices.
Develop reports as required by compliance or organizational needs.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
1+ year of related work experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
Excellent Communication Skills via written and oral
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to deal comfortably with all levels of management
Additional Qualifications:
PHR or SPHR certification is preferred
SAP and/or Kronos Experience preferred
Education
