About our Mission

We are seeking a Lead Member of

Engineering Staff to lead the Navigation

Integrated Bridge System (NAV-IBS) Integrated

Product Team for the Littoral Combat Ship

program, Freedom variant. The candidate for

this position shall demonstrate:

- Leadership abilities for managing team

priorities and direct team activities

- Understanding of US Navy Design Standards

- Familiarity with ABS NVR

- Familiarity with marine based inertial

navigation systems, steering systems, bridge

systems, and voyage management systems

- Ability to troubleshoot navigation system

equipment

- Knowledge of integrated master schedule

management and earned value management

system

- Familiarity with casualty review and

assessment from equipment data and material

reviews

- Ability to communicate with equipment

OEMs/Shipyard/Customer (USN) regarding

deficiencies, trial cards, and CARs/SCARs

- Ability to interface with equipment vendors

(OEMs) to work equipment deliveries and

troubleshoot navigation systems

- Ability to communicate with Navy counterparts

on technical issues

- Ability to brief open issues at program reviews

This position requires:

- Travel to Marinette, WI; Mayport, FL; and

possibly vendor locations

- Secret Security Clearance (ability to obtain)

Life in Moorestown, New Jersey

Moorestown, New Jersey is located in Burlington

County and is an eastern suburb of Philadelphia,

Pennsylvania.

Football, hockey, basketball and more are less

than a one-hour drive from Moorestown.

This area has a rich past with historical

monuments like the Liberty Bell and

Independence Hall nearby.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical

Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other

related engineering or scientific discipline

- Minimum of 12 years of engineering

experience, including a minimum of 10 years of

experience with US Navy or marine programs

- Understanding of US Navy Design Standards

(MIL-Standards, ABS NVR)

- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting

navigation systems and equipment

- Familiarity with casualty review and

assessment from equipment data and material

reviews

- Demonstrated ability to effectively

communicate with external customers or

stakeholders

- Required travel to Marinette WI, Mayport FL,

and vendor locations

- Required to be able to obtain a Secret

clearance

Desired Skills:

- Prior US Navy active duty service

- Must be able to obtain a DoD security

clearance.

- Familiarity with US military standards for

engineering design and production.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate with

equipment OEMS/Shipyard/Customer (USN)

regarding deficiencies, trial cards, and

CARs/SCARs

- Demonstrated ability to communicate with

Navy counterparts and brief technical issues

- LCS Freedom variant Familiarity (Onboard,

drawings, and standards)

- At Sea Experience (Ex-Navy or civilian mariner)

- Shipyard Experience (new construction or

repair)
