Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Project Senior Manager in Moorestown, New Jersey

THE WORK

The function of the Manufacturing Project Management (MPM) manager is to provide senior management / oversight to the portfolio of Launcher programs (VLS, MRC, LRF, ExLS, etc) executed out of Moorestown. In this role, the MPM manager’s responsibility will include primary interface between LoB Program Management and Operations for those programs through the entire lifecycle inclusive of proposal through contract close out. The MPM manager will be responsible to those programs for planning the necessary Operations manpower and resources to deliver against commitments within program established cost, schedule and quality standards. The MPM manager will also be responsible for collaborating with the Production Operation Site lead to help manage the overall factory workload and manage the factories overhead rate. Portfolio responsibility includes Multi-site/multi-program, both mature production and transition to production content, High manufacturing/material product knowledge, and proposal/start up efforts. Customer facing with PM and/or end customer.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in functions of Production Operations (Shop, Materials, Mfg / Test Engineering, or Mfg Project Manager) or Program Management.

• Understanding of full program lifecycle (proposal through execution) inclusive of hardware delivered by production operations.

• Strong communications skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience as a Manufacturing Project Manager or Program Manager

• Solid understanding of MRP and master planning / scheduling

• CAM Certified

• Demonstrated expertise in earned value data & production labor and material planning & statusing

• Experience on large complex / multi-site proposal & execution efforts

• Graduate of the Production Operations Leadership Institute (POLI)

• Green or Black Belt Certified or equivalent

• Experience working at multiple RMS MSPO sites

• Demonstrated ability to interface with executive management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
