Lockheed Martin Network Engineer Associate in Moorestown, New Jersey

Responsible for daily operations, maintenance troubleshooting and growth of specific portions of the network including dependent networks, remote connections as well as interfacing with end-users and system administrators to determine requirements and engineer appropriate solutions.

Support classified network infrastructure upgrade projects, including planned upgrades to infrastructure switching

systems, expansion, and reconfiguration projects.

Plan and design networks including copper and fiber cabling, equipment racks, specify install and configure required network equipment.

Coordinate and support large personnel moves.

Domestic and international travel on an as required basis to support remote program labs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

• Understanding of OSI or TCP/IP models.

• OSI Layer 2 knowledge: VLANs, ARP, CDP, and trunking.

• OSI Layer 3 knowledge: IP addressing and IP routing concepts.

• 1-5 years of experience planning, building, installing and troubleshooting network infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience implementing configurations using CLI on Cisco switches & routers.

• Ability to tactfully interact with customers to resolve network connectivity issues.

• Ability to troubleshoot network outages and restore network functionality.

• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+.

• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Call Manager.

• Experience with voice technologies such as VoIP and

VTC.

• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting LAN

and WAN connections.

• Experience with encryption devices and COMSEC.

• Current Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

• Ability to create network diagrams utilizing Microsoft Visio.

• DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
