WHAT WE’RE DOING

The world’s most advanced combat system.

The Aegis Combat System is the Navy’s most modern surface combat system. It was designed as a complete system: the missile launching element, the computer programs, the radar and the displays are fully integrated to work together. This makes the Aegis system the first fully integrated combat system built to defend against advanced air and surface threats.

THE WORK

• This position will provide Earned Value Management (EVM) support for the Australia Surface Combatant (ASC) Combat System Engineering Contract.

• Lead monthly business rhythm for reporting of contract EVM.

• Support the program team providing comprehensive program oversight to maintain overall program financial and schedule integrity and ensure that all program activities are implemented to support planned strategies & contract need dates.

• Lead ASC CAMs and enforce CAM checklist for weekly/monthly activities. Ensure timeliness and completeness of all CAM inputs (status, VARs, and other data). Lead DDM metric tracking and statusing. Manage EAC activities including CEACs, and ensure CAMs are entering accurate ETCs.

• Support baselining activities including BCRs and baselining or rebaselining.

• Review QBDs to ensure they are correct and generated according to reporting requirements.

• Review VARs & EAC justifications to ensure CAM inputs are correctly populated with the proper analysis required behind the explanations prior to Program VAR and EAC Reviews.

• Support contract reporting requirements for EVM. Work with the PPM team to ensure PPM compliance and support EV compliance activities.

This role reports to the Hunter / Hobart Programs Program Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a member of a Program Management team/PMO

• Experience with monthly program management business rhythm and required coordination with functional organizations for variance reporting, program status updates and CDRL deliverables

• Knowledgeable in the collection, analysis, and reporting of program management and technical data

• Experience in Earned Value Management and/or a certified Control Account Manager (CAM)

• Must be detail oriented, possess strong communication and leadership skills and be capable of seamlessly integrating into a cohesive team-oriented environment

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Active Secret Clearance preferred

• Leadership experience managing matrixed teams

• Experience as a CAM across multiple contracts, programs, or control accounts

• Experience participating in EV compliance activities (i.e. audits, compliance reviews) 

• Experience working with and/or across different functions 

• Understanding of the EVM rhythm at a program level

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
