Job Summary:

Participates in analyses to determine sales and product demand supporting the sales and operations process. Gathers and documents internal user requirements, supports the development and testing of Customer Relationship Management tools, collects feedback from internal clients, and recommends improvements.

What You Will Do:

• Gathers and analyzes relevant data from multiple sources to keep product information accurate for the effective processing of commercial orders.

• Functions with internal and external business partners to support product delivery schedule/calendar. Maintains Sales Order and Demand tools and creates reports used by leaders.

• Answering inquiries and resolving problems regarding business plan execution, operational improvement, and achievement of targets.

• Conducting market research to do a comparative analysis of competitor offerings and provide recommendations for developing a more effective product/service.

• Identifying user/client requirements for a product or service and defining technical specifications; Preparing technical documentation and sharing them with the teams.

• Supporting the OEM Commercial Manager by fulfilling data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance; Participating in initiatives to improve processes efficiency and employee productivity.

• The ideal candidate has an expert knowledge of Salesforce as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool with the ability to refine CRM and Commercial processes to the needs of the business.

• Collects required business data through various data sources.

• Utilizes designated software (both internal and external to include Salesforce) to analyze business data.

• Investigates data requirements in the business data analysis process.

• Applies data analysis and data modeling techniques to establish, modify, and maintain business data structures and associated components.

• Writes analysis reports to assist decision making at the senior level.

Business Assessment:

• Applies tools and techniques for gathering business requirements.

• Documents best practices and techniques for assessing application opportunities.

• Participates in conducting and documenting business assessments.

• Participates in the preparation of risk assessment and benefits analysis.

Requirements Analysis:

• Follows policies, practices and standards for determining functional and informational requirements.

• Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.

• Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.

• Participates in the preparation of detailed documentation and requirements.

• Utilizes specific organizational methods, tools and techniques for requirements analysis.

Technical Writing/Documentation:

• Implements technical documentation standards, guidelines and best practices.

• Prepares written text and layout of materials according to required outlines and specifications.

• Completes and maintains technical reference documents.

• Uses the major features, functions and facilities of an automated documentation tool.

• Coordinates and constantly updates system operations, installations, service manuals, and help documents.

Product Design and Development:

• Identifies and documents specific commercial process problems and resolution alternatives.

• Design and develop Salesforce based solutions to standardize and elevate commercial processes while identifying opportunities to integrate a complete business solution (Order to Delivery, Engineering, Business Resources).

• Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.

• Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.

• Communicates with professionals to understand various requirements.

• Tests and evaluates alternative means of production being considered for use.

• Uses automated tools to design or modify the design of a product/solution.

Research Analysis:

• Interprets new findings and analyzes their validity.

• Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.

• Produces standard project status reports.

• Evaluates research analysis best practices within the industry.

• Analyzes published research reports and their possible implications.

• Implements research analysis standards within the organization.

Additional Information

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
