Job Summary

In our Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) we are committed to helping our customers build a better world with our products, services, and solutions as we manage through the energy transformation. We are innovating to develop the breakthroughs necessary to support tomorrow’s growth including more sustainable products to help meet the world’s greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals.

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and inspiring the global engineering team developing engine system solutions across the LPSD Portfolio including the C27/32, 3500, C175, MWM, and C280 platforms for diesel, gas, and lower carbon fuels as well as testing and validation of the new electrification product line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion our safety driven strategy by focusing on preventing serious injuries, learning & improving, and demonstrating care.

  • Lead and inspire highly effective teams to improve results, ensure compliance, and safely deliver business objectives.

  • Drive positive culture through Our Values in Action and best talent philosophy.

  • Strategic and capital planning for LPSD engine test operations.

  • Accountable for products meeting engine performance and emission requirements.

  • Lead team in development and maintenance of test automation and IT systems as well as engineering tools utilized across the organization.

  • Management and development of engine control strategies and software to deliver value to our customers.

  • Execution of validation activities supporting the electrification product line.

  • Manage +$100M R&D budget.

  • Advises on details of multiple products and product groups.

  • Develops the criteria for assessing product performance.
