Kellanova Senior Plant Operations Manager in Muncy, Pennsylvania

Join us as a Senior Plant Operations Manager at our Muncy, PA, plant you will be the right-hand person to the Plant Manager, helping to lead and develop high performing teams. Do you have a proven track record of developing winning teams, are detail oriented, and are ready to manage foundational, fundamental engagement at the frontline level? Your pride in leadership, continuous improvement, and a passion for people are all key ingredients to your success.

In this role you will be a key decision maker, ensuring our processes and teams are running efficiently. You’ll work with cross functional teams in operations, maintenance, safety, quality, and others to build capabilities across the site.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leadership - Serving as a member of Plant Management Leadership Team, holding the department accountable for adherence to plant direction, and establishing and ensuring achievement of all unit Key Performance Indicators. Responsible for engaging, managing and developing a team of operations staff and employees across all production lines and shifts.

  • Planning - Participating in the business planning and budgeting process by developing short and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies. Execution of projects within assigned area by monitoring project plans and status to ensure completion. Ensuring raw materials are efficiently converted into finished goods for the overall operation.

  • High Performance Organization – Leading teams and taking them to an autonomous environment is key in this role, we need you to have the vision and direction for a future oriented company.

  • Continuous Improvement and Development - Delivering continuous improvement and operational effectiveness through implementation of integrated work systems and principles. You will be accountable for compliance with all Employee Safety, Food Safety and Sanitation policies and regulations.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Skilled at high level management in a manufacturing setting

  • Your expertise of applying lean principles and engaging others sets us up for success

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others

  • Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations

  • Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Collaborative work style, working cross-functionally is a big part of this role

    Compensation

    The annual salary range is $127,470 - $191,205, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
