Kellogg Lead Integration Consultant in Naperville, Illinois

As the Lead Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for isolating, diagnosing and restoring service for IT (services, infrastructure) interruptions, escalating to higher levels of support where needed. Other responsibilities include infrastructure and collaboration services, vendor management. Operations Analysts diagnose problems as reported by users, support electronic collaboration services and maintain a secure systems environment.

The Lead Integration Consultant will partner with internal Kellogg IT groups and external vendor partners to successfully receive the transition of deployed solutions to our “Business as usual” process.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Design and Develop – In this role you’ll be responsible for the design and development of BPML, map development, trading partner setups, as well as communication setups (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS and AS2 etc.). You’ll also create new maps using X12, EDIFACT, SAP IDOCs, Delimited (CSV), XML and Flat File formats in SI 5.2.4 or above.

  • Monitor – As Lead Consultant, you will perform required monitoring of existing EDI platform according to the Standard Operating Procedures, and set-up new communication links using VAN (GXS, Sterling, Harmony etc.) with external EDI partners and internal systems. You will put your EDI experience, inclusive of EDIFACT, X12, ODETTE and TRADCOMMS standards, to use!

  • Put your Knowledge to Use! We are looking for strong knowledge in the following areas:

  • Database concepts, administration of Sterling Integrator, Indexing, maintenance and working with properties files, etc.

  • IBM Sterling Suite of Products including IBM Sterling Integrator, IBM Perimeter Server

  • ERP (SAP, Oracle) EDI configuration and format

  • UNIX Shell Scripting, Linux scripting

  • Knowledge on Ticketing tool like Service Now

  • Application Programming Interface

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED and related experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with MS Teams, Sharepoint and Skype as an end user and also be able to perform advance troubleshooting on these tools

  • Experience with Video conferencing technology as end user and be able to point to faulty components to be able to assign issues to the proper support team (vendor or external consultant)

  • Experience working in a diverse multiregional operation

  • Working non-core hours within a global team framework at times
