Lockheed Martin Senior Project Engineer (Level 3) in NAS Pax River, Maryland

The F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD (NAS PAX) is seeking a Sr Project Engineer to support activities at the test site. The Project Engineer will lead a diverse set of special projects (including but not limited to the following types of projects: proposal support, technical problem resolution, end-to-end value stream mapping/process improvement, improving application of Agile within Project Engineering, remote flight test deployment activity).

They will also perform a variety of planning, executing and reporting responsibilities on operational components of the program - to include cost, schedule, staffing, and risk.

This position requires experience in data analysis, strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse disciplines and organizations across ITF at multiple locations/sites to include LM Aero, multiple other LM business units, suppliers, and the customer. Strong communication and persistence is key to getting the job accomplished.

The successful candidate must be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Previous experience and familiarity with flight test activities are desired.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications:

1) Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

2) Experience with Project Management or Project Engineering.

3) Experience with developing cost estimates, Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).

4) Advanced proficiency in Excel with the ability to export, maintain, and refine data for analysis.

Desired Skills:

1) Self-starter requiring minimal supervision - capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership.

2) Experience with earned value management.

3) Advanced presentation skills, with demonstrated experience communicating effectively to large and diverse audiences.

-Demonstrated experience with Tableau, or other visualization tools
