Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Principal Hardware Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team to lead engineering support and management of Diminishing Material Supply (DMS) for one of our EW Product Lines. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.

Activities day to day will vary and may include:

  • Working with hardware suppliers

  • Engineering evaluation of part obsolescence impact, and potential replacements

  • Partner with cross functional team to mitigate DMS impacts to programs

  • Delegating tasking to less experienced engineers and technicians

  • Technical management of engineering activity related to replacement component assessment

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

6 years experience working on RF/Microwave designs or circuit card assemblies or other electronic systems.

  • Experience in design and part selection

  • Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment

  • Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.

  • Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design

  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skill

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module and circuit design and development

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience developing Engineering Basis of Estimate for proposed engineering work

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109120 - $185460

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
