The Microelectronics (E) Product Line performs cutting-edge microelectronics research in its Science & Technology area and delivers advanced microelectronic products in its four Development & Production areas that advance mission capabilities across commercial and defense applications.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) Product Area to support our E Product Line. Reporting directly to the Product Area Director, the MMIC Program Manager will manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute multiple programs simultaneously. They will ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and performance objectives. They will support new business capture and development of financial plans for the Product Area. They will be expected to model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

This position requires collaborating and interfacing with Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, and Procurement functions within the company as well as with internal and external customers to ensure that the portfolio s financial, schedule and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format. It will require mostly in-person, on-site work with the potential for allowing some remote work. The work location is Nashua, NH.

Key aspects of this role:

  • Accountability for all aspects of program initiation, planning and execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, customer engagement, etc.) and ensuring program commitments are met.

  • Responsibility and accountability to the Business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Make decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit and cash flow.

  • Creation of new business strategies and the development of strategic and financial plans

  • Understanding of life cycle management

  • Working with various contract types

  • Earned Value Management

  • Communication with clear, concise messaging to teams, internal leadership and customers

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or Master s Degree with 8 years experience

  • 2 - 4 years experience as a Program Manager (PM) or Program Engineering Manager (PEM)

  • Knowledge / experience in a Semiconductor Foundry and the development, fabrication or testing of microelectronics or electronic subsystems

  • Sustainment and/or production program management experience

  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  • Experience with working in, understanding and partnering with functional matrix organizations

  • Strong presentation and organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence and shape the behavior and performance of teams executing complex requirements

  • Demonstrates business acumen and presence at the leadership level

  • Knowledge of defense contract types

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master s or PhD. in engineering or a similar field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • 5 years experience as a Program Manager (PM), Program Engineering Manager (PEM) or Technical Project Manager

  • Background or experience in microelectronics or MMICs or electronic subsystems design, production, and test

  • Experience in MMIC development or production

  • Interpersonal and Leadership Skills demonstrated experience being successful leading cross-functional teams and supervising individuals

  • Experience in developing product roadmaps

  • Experience in proposal development activities and capturing new business

  • Experience interfacing with microelectronics foundries and suppliers

  • Experience in structured problem solving with demonstrated ability to systematically determine root cause

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
