BAE Systems Senior Principal MMIC Layout Engineer in Nashua, New Hampshire
BAE is seeking a Senior Principal MMIC Layout Engineer in our Nashua, NH location.

We are currently seeking a Senior MMIC Design Engineer.
This individual will work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment with other engineers to parse out and negotiate requirements, specify and develop custom or semi-custom devices and determine appropriate technologies to apply. Additional responsibilities include working with inside and outside suppliers, as well as internal manufacturing to assure designs are producible.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform microwave monolithic circuit (MMIC) layouts for multi-function RF / microwave circuits including GaN HEMT devices for power amplifier applications and PHEMT devices for wideband microwave module applications using a range of layout tools and associated PDKs.
Work with MMIC Design and Processing engineers to update and or establish design rules and implement design rule checking; contribute to the creation and updating of foundry design rule manuals (documentation).
Work primarily in Cadence environment; be familiar with Assura DRC. Familiarity with DW2000, ADS and MWO a benefit.
Develop and maintain Cadence Process Design Kits (PDKs) to support internal and external customers. Familiarity with ADS and MWO PDK development and maintenance a benefit.
Write layout scripts within Cadence.
Support for mask design assembly, and procurement activities.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance
Experience in MMIC layout
Experience across a range of MMIC device technologies
Highly proficient at using standard high frequency design/layout tools (Cadence/Assura primarily; ADS, MWO, DW2000 beneficial)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor s degree and 10 years related experience or Master s degree and 4 years experience
