BAE Systems Senior Program Quality Engineer - F-35 Production in Nashua, New Hampshire

BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is seeking a Senior Program Quality Engineer to support the F-35 production program in New Hampshire. In this role, you will help amplify the voice of Quality with proactive and predictable implementation of the quality sciences.

As a Senior Program Quality Engineer you will leverage your knowledge and experience of the quality sciences to help the team meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets. This role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations, championing continuous improvement, and helping the team make decisions and drive actions based on data. It involves collaborative/in-person work based out of the Nashua, NH (NHQ) site. This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity to work on a flagship production program during a critical transition to modernized capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Control of non-conforming materials, including leading containment and disposition activities

  • Supporting production through Process Review Board, Corrective Action Board and Configuration Control Board participation

  • Documentation / Configuration Analysis and Review

  • Leading and or participating in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities

  • Reviewing and analyzing data to reduce CoPQ and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Overseeing Production Process Verification (PPV) / First Article Inspections (FAI)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree and 2-4 years of experience or 6-8 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Quality experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Sound understanding of quality science tools (8D RCCA, SPC, Auditing)

  • Self-starting problem solver with a fact-based focus on continuous improvement

  • Organized; capable of juggling several tasks simultaneously with attention to detail

  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Team-oriented; ability and desire to work with a diverse team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards (MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, AS9100, AS9102)

  • Familiarity with Microwave Electronics

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  • Proficient in TipQA, Solumina, Paperless or other MES/QMS systems

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
