Role Definition
Manages the financial plan, forecasts, record keeping, reporting, tax filing and other accounting functions for the organization.
Responsibilities
• Partner with multiple business units to provide insights and analysis in the preparation of strategic investment decisions
• Ensure adherence to corporate procedures related to acquisitions of capital assets, leases, and new product introductions
• Provide technical expertise and support the business processes utilizing business analysis techniques
• Work with business partners to independently resolve problems and act as a leader in investment proposal development for all assigned programs

• Explains the fundamentals of financial forecasting and modeling.
• Resolves common forecasting problems in the application of modeling.
• Uses basic features and facilities of a specific modeling tool.
• Produces and reports the results of a forecast model to management.
• Gathers information necessary to run a forecasting model.

Summary Pay Range:
$116,532.00 - $216,384.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
