Description:
The Guest Service Agent is directly responsible for the prompt, efficient, and courteous check in and check out of guests,assistingwithroomreservationsandhandlingoftelephonecalls,andformeetingmanyotherguestneedsduringtheirstay.
· Towelcomeandregisterallarrivingguests,makingsurethatallpertinentinformationisobtained
· Efficientlyconductcheckinandcheckoutprocedures
· Healthy communication with Housekeeping and Engineering departments and ensure that guest's expectationsaremet. Allmaintenanceissues properlylogged andfollowed upon
· Respondtoallguests’requestsorinapropermannerandensureappropriateactionistaken
· Meetrequestsregardingguestbilling
· Handlecashtransactionsinaccordancewiththeproperty’scashhandlingpolicy
· Maintainscurrentknowledgeofhotelculture,amenities,andservices,eventsinthearea,pointsofinterest,andservices inthe area
· Answerthetelephoneinaprofessionalmannerandassistguests withanyquestions,directions,etc.
· Manageandresolveallguestcomplaintsandcomplimentsinaprofessionalandcourteousmanner
· CommunicatewithalldepartmentsregardinginhouseVIPsandanyspecialrequests/needs
· Allothertasksanddutiesasassigned
Qualifications:
· AtleastoneyearofexperienceasaFrontDeskAgent
· Haveexcellentpersonalpresentationandinterpersonalskills.
· Displayapositiveandcheerfuldemeanoralongwithacaringpersonality
· Goodproblem solving ability
· Fluencyinreading,writingandspokenEnglish.
