COMPANY OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mechanical Engineering opportunities may be available in multiple areas of our organization including plant engineering, process engineering or product design. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Â

  • Process Engineering; support specifications and standards in areas such as compound, component, curing process, or uniformity analyses

  • Plant Engineering; assist in the safe design, procurement, installation, debug, start-up and operation of plant equipment and projects

  • Product Design; utilize software and standards for accurate creation, revision, and organization of documents and distribution controls

  • Design, develop, and deploy machinery and other equipment intended to execute and improve processes

  • Learn and utilize key manufacturing software and systems; suggesting improvements as needed

  • Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals

  • Work in a hands-on manufacturing environment with cross functional teams

  • Â Utilize project management skills to develop, manage, and control scope, schedule, and cost

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other applicable major

  • Preferred junior to senior level standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university the semester prior to the co-op/internship

  • Preferred ability to work 40 hours weekly in a 3-month internship, or minimum 6-month co-op assignment.

  • Completed Computer Aided Design (CAD)/AutoCAD course work

Preferred Competencies:

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • People centric focus with ability to collaborate with all teammates across the organization

  • Strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in major of study

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
