Fiserv Professional Services Consultant - Accounting in Nashville, Tennessee
This position can work remotely anywhere in the United States. The preferred location is the Alpharetta, GA, Frisco, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Charlotte, NC, or Owings Mills, MD office.
What does a great Professional Services Consultant do?
You will work with clients to implement Fiserv’s account reconciliation suite of products. You will be responsible for leading the client in project training and configuration throughout the implementation lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to lead project work, timelines and customer expectations, ultimately leading to an enhanced client experience.
This role will require the ability to travel up to 100% including travel to client sites and Fiserv offices; generally, travel is 60-80%.

As a Professional Services Consultant, you can look forward to:
Configuring Fiserv software based on client business requirements.
Playing a role in the success of the business unit profitability by lending advice, experience and guidance.
Participating with the Project Manager(s) and Project Team to design a solution to fulfill the client’s business requirements.
Assisting the Business Consultant(s) to elicit, validate and prioritize client business requirements.
Presenting, in conjunction with the Senior Business Consultant(s) and Project Manager(s), the design of the proposed solution with client.
Developing detailed technical specifications for any customized development or scripting work that is required during the course of a project.
Configuring application parameters including accounts, users, rules, reports, processes, and privileges to meet client business requirements.
Validating and testing the solution against business requirements.
Contributing to the resolution of end-to-end testing and implementation specific defects.
Developing and delivering client training.
Identifying and implementing solutions to meet business requirements.
Leading and guiding a collaborative spirit with team members and clients from various cultures and regions of the world.

Has experience working in a client or customer facing role. You are seeking a position with a high level of travel. You have a background working in a bank, credit union, or in an accounting/finance department and are familiar with general accounting principles and practices. Does this sound like you? Basic qualifications for consideration:
Minimum 3 years experience working in a client or customer facing role.
Experience working in a bank, credit union, or in an accounting/finance department
Knowledge of reconciliation process
Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
Ability to travel up to 100% including travel to client sites and Fiserv offices; generally, travel is 60-80%.
Ability to work extended workdays, weekends and holidays as required.
High school diploma or GED
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Bachelors degree in a finance/accounting or related discipline, CPA a plus
Operational risk management experience in the Banking and/or the Securities Industry.
Working knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL
Experience with Fiserv’s Accurate NXG, RECON-Plus or Frontier or other reconciliation systems
Knowledge of Project management methodology
Software testing experience
Familiar with technical requirements and challenges with a knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle databases, networking and Windows and UNIX operating systems
