We are changing the trajectory of Power Tools at DePuy Synthes and looking for our next versatile leader to join the journey!

The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for achievement of sales targets and financial objectives within the assigned geography. They are responsible for understanding the customer’s strategic priorities at all levels (e.g. IDN and Facility levels) and developing solutions to meet customer needs. The RSL will proactively foster relationships to partner with key executive, economic and clinical decision makers across the business. The RSL will develop balanced strategic relationships with healthcare, clinical and business executives at targeted IDNs and facilities to enhance efficiency with clinicians and other critical decision makers, driving account growth and share of mind.

Additionally, the RSL will prioritize business opportunities across geographic area of responsibility, assessing resource trade-offs and opportunities. The RSL will grow business by owning the sales organization and mobilizing support resources including Strategic Accounts, Professional Education and Healthcare Compliance. The RSL will lead and coordinate appropriate resources, tailored to specific account needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Help build and implement effective sales efforts in order to achieve objectives in the assigned geography

  • Provide support to Anspach distributors in the states identified in assigned region.

  • May be called upon to represent Power Tools at Society and Internal Sales Meetings

  • Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals, and supports distributors and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.

  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist distributors and FSO in promoting sales.

  • Assure personal contact to distributors.

  • Review sales performance against objectives and adjust focus as indicated to achieve sales goals. Studies and fulfills territory coverage plan which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals. Recommends plan adjustments as needed.

  • Deliver product training and sales support in territory.

  • Review market analyses to resolve customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.

  • Serve as liaison between sales force and other personnel.

  • Provide booth support at regional meetings

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.

  • Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university and five plus years related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work and interact with all customers and employees at the company.

  • Must own and maintain computer in accordance with J&J policy.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $131,000 to $210,000
