Bridgestone Americas, Inc Senior Customer Support Manager in Nashville, Tennessee

Responsibilities:

  • Leads with a sales mindset focused on delivering the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Active member of the Sales Operations Leadership team.

  • Guides the Customer Support team through item transitions ensuring a smooth conversion and rapid route to market.

  • Voice of the Customer Support team on Distribution Center Operations Calls designed to solve issues and maximize customer fill rates.

  • Collaborates with sales, supply chain, and key customers for winter tire planning and execution in the US and Canada.

  • Team Leadership

  • Annual IDP Development & Support for all Teammates in Customer Support

  • Quarterly Reviews with Direct Reports

  • Semi Annual 1:1's with all Customer Support Teammates

  • Mid-Year Talent Reviews

  • Talent Pipeline & Recruitment Strategy

  • Annual Goal & Objective Development

  • Team Engagement

  • Weekly supply meetings designed to reduce backorders and manage substitution opportunities for customer orders.

  • Customer meetings with key US & Canadian accounts monthly.

  • Special projects where Customer Support is directly impacted or required for execution.

Qualifications:

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

  • 7+ years in a management position.

  • Proven track record of team success and direct report development.

  • Proficient with SAP and tableau.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Cross-functional leadership capabilities.

  • Power user in EXCEL.

  • Experience within the Tire or Automotive industries.

Preferred:

  • Minimum 5 years in a customer-facing role.

The Senior Customer Support Manager is responsible for leading Consumer Replacement's US and Canadian Customer Support teams. This role is critical to the success of the business because it interacts with all channels and customers within the business. The Senior Manager is the liaison between the sales organization, cross-functional teams, and Bridgestone's customers. The focus is on maximizing order fill rates, teammate development, and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction. As the leader of the team, the Senior Manager is responsible for 3 direct reports and 20+ Customer Support Representatives. Incumbents need to be able to build out the vision and strategy while managing the day-to-day activities aligned with Bridgestone's business priorities.
