A.O. Smith Corporation (Nashville, TN) seeks to hire a Senior SAP HCM System Developer. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field or its foreign equivalent, and two (2) years of related work experience with SAP and other HRIS applications. The candidate must also have demonstrated experience configuring SAP – HR/Payroll/Benefits systems/procedures, reporting and analyzing HR data, and troubleshooting inbound & outbound integrations between SAP HCM (i.e. Employee Central, UKG Pro WFM, ADP taxes), as well as a demonstrated understanding of ERP and SaaS solutions and other system configuration/functionality, system implementation/integration, IT dependencies, time keeping/evaluation process, and current HR policies and practices.
Responsibilities
The specific job responsibilities of the position include: (i) document SAP HCM Module process changes and enhancements including blueprinting, system configuration, master data updates, testing, training, and post launch support; (ii) manage daily operations of the SAP HCM Module including monitoring interfaces and master data management and ensure service level agreement deliverables are met; (iii) lead HCM conversion projects for acquisitions which include organizational design, data loads, collaboration with security team, identifying modifications for interfaces, change management, and cutover activities; (iv) identify and facilitate internal administrator and end-user training needs on processes and application functionality; and (v) analyze latest technical release notes and make recommendations for optimization of processes.
