Role Definition

  • Work alongside the Project Manager and the Project Team as a servant-leader to ensure a unified approach to testing, a consistent customer experience, quality control, and audit preparedness for testing activities - as the project teams deliver on business partners’ key business objectives.

What You will Do:

  • Provide guidance to Project Manager on key testing deliverables and milestones to be added in Project Plan

  • Adhering to testing methodologies and best practices, lead the team through the development of a test strategy and plan that effectively ensures quality software is deployed in a manner that satisfies business requirements

  • Manage test plan execution phase, in collaboration with Project Manager, including the monitoring of status vs. plan, defect resolution, and risk and issue management

  • Effectively communicate status of testing-related activities, risks and issues to project team, Stakeholders and Sponsor

  • Identify roadblocks or concerns with testing proactively, including prudent escalation

Consideration for Top Candidates:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a role performing SDLC activities with an emphasis on software development and testing

  • Practical understanding of testing/quality assurance fundamentals

  • The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

  • Knowledge in Azure DevOps Test Plans or other test management tools

  • Experience working with cross functional teams and matrixed organizations

Skill Required:

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic : Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

  • Test Management: Knowledge of effective quality assurance strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control testing activities, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve quality objectives.

Degree Requirement:

  • A 4-year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.

Additional Information:

  • This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.

Summary Pay Range:

$92,880.00 - $160,788.00
