The Johnson & Johnson Global Tax Group is recruiting for a Director, International Tax Reporting & Compliance. This position is based in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and will report to the Sr. Global Tax Reporting Director.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals in a dynamic environment

  • Manage the federal income tax return process including international tax compliance and SEC financial statements impact

  • Coordinate forecasting and reporting processes around Subpart F income, GILTI, BEAT, CAMT and FDII

  • Liaise with other groups within Global Tax including Transfer Pricing, Tax Reporting, Tax Planning and Tax Counsel to ensure that tax initiatives are accurately and timely reported and disclosed on the tax return

  • Provide technical oversight and material support to other groups within the Global Tax community in relation to compliance and reporting of international tax related issues

  • Provide material support during audits involving U.S. international tax issues

  • Present periodic key updates on significant matters to Tax Leadership

  • Build effective relationships with tax colleagues at country tax centers (“CTCs”) around the globe.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to facilitate tax compliance reporting centered on increasing controls and efficient end-to-end processes

  • Document key controls for tax risks areas and monitor compliance

  • Establish BEST practices and implement processes which will lead to an efficient and accurate product for the international tax compliance function

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA strongly preferred.

  • 10 years of experience working in Big 4 accounting and/or a large multinational organization.

  • Deep expertise and experience in US International Tax concepts including, GILTI, Subpart F income, foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, Sec. 163(j), etc. required.

  • Must have experience working in high pressure environments with the ability to multitask and make independent decisions as well as work to tight deadlines.

  • Must demonstrate leadership and ability to work as part of a team.

  • Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to synthesize complex matters into accurate and concise summary documents for senior leadership.

  • People management and development experience is required.

  • Extensive experience in preparation and review of international tax forms.

  • Must possess strong collaborative, tax research, analytical and interpersonal skills.

The base pay range for this position is $160,000 - $276,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
