Position Overview:
Join our dynamic Learn team as we embark on an exciting journey to elevate learning and development at Johnson & Johnson! We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to fill the role of Strategic Manager, Learn will play a critical role in shaping the learning landscape across our organization. In this important position, you will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to co-develop and implement governance strategies, training and initiatives in support of our learning culture.
As a Learn key player, you will lead efforts to sustain a thriving community of practice, driving knowledge sharing and collaboration among peers. You will provide strategic direction and support global learning initiatives, helping to establish an inclusive and innovative culture that encourages professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
Standards Development and Governance:
Co-develop and implement a governance strategy to monitor adherence to established learning design standards with product owners, ensuring quality and compliance with established standards.
Support the implementation and maintain standards documents and supporting processes (intake, prioritization, review, revisions, communications) using the Learn Technology Ecosystem tools.
Training and Implementation Management:
Buildcomprehensive training programs, equipping users with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective use.
Provide support and consultation to learning content owners regarding content and experience design for learning technologies.
Execute the plan for migrating Practice Areas content intoLearn technologies.
Grow Gig & Mentor Community Management
Create document management strategy and implement a consistent management framework aligned with best practices to facilitateeasy access to resources.
Partner with Development leader to identify community members and development community approach
Organize monthly Community of Practice sessions to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders including engagement of community, curation of presenters and topics and continuous improvement
Support Learn ’s Global initiatives as needed ( i.e. Global Learning Day, Learning Professional Events etc.)
Collaboration and Leadership:
Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of all standards and training initiatives.
Mentor and develop team members and stakeholders in best practices for learning design, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional setting, with at least 3 years in a learning, HR, or instructional design role.
Proven experience in managing Learning Technologies.
Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and translate it into effective learning solutions that drive organizational goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in project management or process improvement within the learning and development space.
Background in Training & Development, Instructional Design, or related areas.
Experience with Learn Ecosystem (EdCastLxP, Xyleme LCMS, NovoEd Cohort, Summit LMS)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and other relevant Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
Other:
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically as required for project oversight and team collaboration.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$100,000 - $172,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
