The Executive Oncology Sales Specialist (EOSS) is a Field Based role reporting to a District Manager. As an EOSS you will:

  • Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics.

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the product clinical efficacy, articulate a value proposition for the customer, provide clinical support/information as needed, and achieve the territory sales quota.

  • Conduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business within assigned accounts, develop account strategies with the District Manager (i.e., identify key accounts, develop specific account action plans).

  • Develop customer specific pre- and post-call plans that include call objectives, strategic probes, and appropriate us of supporting promotional materials.

  • Effectively penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales within the assigned territory.

  • Appropriately utilize all marketing tools and resources, including computer generated presentations.

  • Effectively utilize closing skills to move the sale to next step (i.e., another appointment, in-service, appropriate patient identification, etc.).

  • Effectively discuss reimbursement options with customers to improve sales opportunities and product fulfillment.

  • Negotiate sales and close orders to meet sales quotas.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $96,000 to $189,000

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.

Required:

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekends as required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech, or medical device sales experience.

  • Experience in hospital and large account management and sales, including the handling of sophisticated reimbursement issues, (i.e., Commercial and Medicare).

  • Detailed history of sustained sales performance in a driven and ambitious environment

  • Willingness to satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including, but not limited to TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and Varicella (chicken pox) as well as annual background checks by Janssen Biotech, Inc.

  • Reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it.

Preferred:

  • Specialty sales experience and an understanding of the Oncology marketplace including disease state awareness, therapeutic treatment options, and competitive landscape.
