JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
As an Intern within Entergy’s Operational Governance team, you will provide IT services to internal customers as well as deliver ongoing support for ServiceNow-based solutions. This role provides the opportunity to engage in the full application lifecycle as part of a scrum team. You will design, develop, and support solutions on the Now platform that supports Entergy’s core IT processes.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop application features with configuration and custom code development using ServiceNow’s low-code/no-code tools.
Participate in peer reviews for application changes.
Participate in scrum ceremonies such as refinement, demo, and release planning.
Create workflows and build service requests based on customers’ specifications.
Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionalities to automate tasks.
Generate reports and perform routine system maintenance as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
Analytic and problem-solving skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with software development and design methodologies
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
JavaScript experience
UX/UI Experience
Understanding of design thinking techniques including Persona's, Journey Maps, and wireframes
