Pfizer Innovation Program Manager in New York City, New York
The Innovation Program Manager role is an opportunity to innovate brand marketing and go-to-market models to extend competitive advantage and achieve our aspiration to be the best marketers of science and technology and to make Pfizer the most trusted brand. This role within Biopharma, reports into the VP, Global Development Center Patient Engagement , and is responsible for project management of sprints to prototype innovation and rapidly test in pilot markets . Success in this role will include the successful scaling of proven disruptive innovation.
The ideal candidate will adapt quickly,embrace ambiguity, interact comfortably with seniorleadership, demonstrate strong projectmanagement skills, and foster creativityand different ways of working.
Role Responsibilities
Provide ongoing facilitation and coaching from initiation through release that enables the team to excel at Agile development
Facilitate discussions leading to collective decision making, goal setting, and conflict resolution within the team
Actively manage risks and external dependencies drawing in team members as appropriate
Create and maintain the appropriate channels for open communication with the team
Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues
Assist Product Owner in shaping road-map and vision
Act as a key enabler in building a strong culture and driving the CMOs disruptive innovation agenda
Required Qualifications
Experience (7+ years) using Agile methodology in the role as a Scrum Master
Knowledge of Human-Centered Design and Lean Start-up
Knowledge of Agile software development process (e.g. XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
Required Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem
Role model for the PFE Values (Courage, Excellence, Equity, Joy)
Lead cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable the teams to achieve successful delivery
Strong writing, presentation and influencing skills
Discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information
Ability to manage and coach cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Certifications
Experience working as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach is highly preferred
Experience with innovation in a customer-centric industry such as consumer packaged goods or technology
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $182,400.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
