It's all about location in NYC and New York Hilton Midtown places you right in the heart of the action, within walking distance of a multitude of famous attractions, including Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, MOMA, and Broadway. Stop by the theater and transportation desk for tips, tickets, and travel in and around the city.

This person will be highly organized with excellent communication skills and experience in supporting a Hotel General Manager. The ideal candidate must have keen attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel sales and/or catering would be a great asset. One year minimum of mid to large-scale hotel operation experience is necessary. This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to springboard their career in Hotel Sales and Catering.

As a Commercial Enterprise Manager , you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Ensure that all contracts and turnovers are properly issued to clients and internal departments on time.
  • Responsible for understanding the Sales and Catering software system, contracts, amendments, and addendums.
  • Monitors commercial team email distribution lists and distributes information completely and accurately including attaching files in appropriate systems.
  • Manages incoming email and phone call leads to include building and distribution of leads.
  • Creates Banquet Event orders in the Hotel Delphi.fdc system.
  • Assists in detailing group program space, diagram creation, invoicing, and creation of affiliate contracts, proposals, memos, reports, and revisions.
  • Prepares room blocks for processing, letters of guaranteed rooms and/or F&B cut-off letters, coordinates with outside vendors, manages loading dock schedule, creates group resume/cover letters, collects and files certificate of insurance & holds harmless.
  • Takes part in preparing forecast reports, banquet check reconciliation, information sheets, rooming lists, etc.
  • Separates, posts, and distributes event order sheets/resume packets.
  • Processes Amenities and coordinates all hotel services for groups such as coat check.
  • Handles all administrative tasks, which relate to processing booking information including the merging of contracts, addendums, turnovers,proposals, space blocking, and FDC logging (activities, leads, reports).
  • Oversees and processes the typing, filing, computer duties, mailing, sales files, FDC logging (activities, leads, reports), printing, and scanning as needed.
  • Assist with discovery and planning visits, tastings, pre-cons, and tie-down meeting support.
  • Inputs activities and leads into Delphi.fdc and assists with blocking meeting space.
  • Assists in answering incoming telephone calls; screening / announcing and transferring calls; distributes messages to appropriate individuals.
  • Reads and routes all incoming mail, and packages for group arrivals.
  • Maintains office supplies and literature inventory on an ongoing basis, to fulfill office needs.
  • Handles purchase orders.
  • Assists the HOTEL with special projects, which may include projects, travel arrangements, Expense Reports, and Client Events.
  • Utilizes organizational skills demonstrated with acute attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment.
