Job Description:

The Global Markets Credit (GMC) organization is responsible for ensuring

a robust and consistent credit underwriting process for Global Markets

lending activities and trading counterparty limits. GMC partners directly

with Global Markets FLU teams in relation to client selection, structuring

and underwriting activities to drive revenue growth while maintaining

appropriate risk disciplines. GMC also coordinates engagement in key

control partners including Global Risk, Finance, Credit Review and Audit

to accordance with our Risk Framework and internal and external

standards.

Within GMC, Data & Portfolio Management is responsible for the

portfolio management of the GM lending and for creating transparency

in lending performance metrics. The Data Specialists will work closely

with Portfolio Managers and Credit Officers in managing data, analytics

and reports. The Data Specialist will be expected to:

• Partner with stakeholders to produce routine reporting and

presentations

*Required Skills : “Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified.

• 3-5 years of experience in data management and systems at a financial institution

• Skilled with automation and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau)

• Proficiency with database (Oracle, Sybase, etc.) and SQL

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Excel VBA, and PowerPoint, along with ability to quickly learn new programs and applications

• Business knowledge of Global Markets products (structured lending, trading, and/or derivative products to counterparty risk metrics) a plus

• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills and attention to detail

• Strong willingness/desire to improve and/or streamline processes

• Able to work independently to troubleshoot issues

• Undergraduate degree or minor in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or Engineering

• Candidate should exhibit strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness, with a desire to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility

• Recommend and drive data flow and process automation work or other solutions design solutions and drive implementation of streamlined and/or automated processes for repeat and periodic projects to create efficiencies in the reporting process and reduce operational risk

• Develop and/or enhance analytical tools (such as Tableau dashboards) to provide additional insights into portfolio trends and user specified cuts of data

• Respond to data analysis requests to support business objectives • Be fluent in data attributes and source systems and understand limitations

• Investigate internal and 3rd party vendor options to support the above goals

• Identify issues in the data set / reports and work with team concerned to resolve

• Coordinate and provide information and contribute to presentations to respond to regulatory and senior management requests

• Support Enterprise Credit initiatives and liaise with applicable stakeholders across the firm on emerging topics as needed
